Most platforms ask you to send them your money and trust them. This one asks for an API key and hands you a kill switch.
There is no deposit, no internal wallet to fund and no withdrawal to wait on. Orders are placed, managed and closed inside your own exchange account, in your name. If you want it to stop, one button pauses every strategy you have running and closes every position you have open.
How it works
Three decisions. Then it is not your problem for a while.
01
Connect your exchange
An API key, not a transfer. The balance stays where it already is, on your venue, in your name. We can place and close orders inside it — we cannot move money out of it.
Spot and futures are separate wallets on the same exchange. A futures strategy cannot reach what is sitting in spot, and the screen tells you before you activate, not after the first order dies.
02
Choose what trades for you
Not a bot store with a copytrading tab bolted on. One shelf. You are activating something that trades for you — whether the signal is written by an algorithm or by a person is a label on the card, not a different product.
Every card carries win rate, average ROI, max drawdown and the number of closed trades those are calculated from. Same row, same size, same typeface.
03
Set the caps
Percent of capital per trade, how many positions at once, a ceiling per trade and on total exposure — and a cumulative loss cut in USDT that stops the copying dead.
Nothing restarts on its own. If it stopped, it stopped because a number you chose said so, and it stays stopped until you re-arm it by hand.

Signal refused — daily drawdown reached
It stops opening until tomorrow. You did not have to be watching.
Not sure yet? Activate it on a simulated account. Real prices, every platform rule, no real money — and the activation keeps its history when you switch it to live.
The two numbers everyone else hides, in the same row as the two they show.
Win rate and average ROI sit next to max drawdown and worst losing streak, at the same size, in the same typeface. All four are measured on trades this platform executed and closed. Nobody types them in — not the traders who charge for them, and not us.
Ranked by win rate, not total return.
Total return rewards whoever published first, not whoever trades best.
Thin track records do not appear at all.
A 100% win rate off two trades is worse than showing you nothing.
Nothing about any person is published.
Not how many people run a strategy, not what any of them made or lost.

Average ROI is per trade, not per year. Nothing here is a forecast — it is what already happened.
A strategy is something you activate so that it trades for you. Two things describe it: who owns it, which decides who gets paid, and where the signal comes from. Neither turns it into a different product.
When you activate, you pick the account it trades on, how it executes — futures, spot, arbitrage, DCA or correlation — and the percent of capital per trade. Accounts that cannot trade the market a strategy needs are shown greyed out with the reason, never hidden.
Three layers decide what you can lose. Only one of them is you.
The other two hold whether or not you are paying attention. That is the entire point of them.
Layer 1
The platform
Set by us. You cannot raise it, and neither can the person selling you the signal.
1%
base risk per trade
Sized with the expected spread and slippage, not on the ideal fill.
1 → 4%
phases by cumulative result
1% to +10% PnL, 2.5% to +30%, 3% to +50%, 4% above. Risk the gain, not the starting capital.
6% / 12%
daily and weekly drawdown
Past either figure it stops opening. It does not average down and it does not try to win it back.
3 losses
then a cooldown
After three losing trades in a row it drops back to 1% for the next two.
Layer 2
Your activation
Set by you, per strategy. This is the layer the rest of the industry leaves to your willpower.
Percent per trade
How much of your capital a single signal is allowed to move.
Positions at once
How many can be open at the same time.
Cap per trade · total exposure
Two hard ceilings in USDT, whatever the percentage works out to.
Risk profile
Conservative, Balanced or Aggressive scales our settings without touching the strategy.
Cumulative loss cut, in USDT. When an activation has lost that much, it stops copying and stays stopped. Not until tomorrow. Not until the next signal. Until you re-arm it by hand.
Layer 3
The signal
Set by whoever owns the strategy. It decides the trade, never how much of your account it can reach.
Entry
Where it opens.
Take profit
Where it takes the gain.
Stop loss
Where it takes the loss. Trailing stops and TP/SL are watched by us when the exchange will not do it natively.
Leverage
Still inside your caps from layer two.
Stop everything
One button pauses every strategy you have running and closes every position you have open. It touches nobody else's account, and nothing starts again on its own.
And you can see why a signal was not taken
The risk screen shows what you have used today and what is stopping a signal right now — daily drawdown, weekly drawdown or a cooldown. A trade that was refused should never look like the platform failing.
Exchanges and markets
Ten venues. One of them trades stocks.
Connected with an API key. We cannot move your funds off the exchange — only place, manage and close orders inside it.

Paper trading
Simulated
Spot and futures are two wallets.
Different balances on the same exchange. A futures strategy cannot spend what is sitting in spot — so accounts that cannot run a strategy appear greyed out with the reason, never hidden.
Alpaca is what makes stocks real here.
US equities and ETFs, on the same platform and under the same three risk layers as the crypto side. Not a roadmap item.
Before you risk anything
Find out it does not work while that is still free.
Two ways to spend nothing finding out. Both of them tell you what they cannot see — and that paragraph is printed inside the product, not just here.
Paper trading
Simulated money, real prices, and every single platform rule — the same drawdown cuts, the same cooldown, the same sizing. The activation walks the exact path a live one walks.
Simulated equity and capital curve
Open positions in real time
Closed trades with their close reason
Max drawdown and balance reset
Paper does not model fees or slippage. That makes a paper result a ceiling, not a promise. Live will come in under it.
Backtesting
Run a strategy and a set of pairs against real history. It charges a fee per side and a slippage figure you set, and hands back the result, win rate, profit factor, max drawdown and how every trade ended.
Strategy · several pairs
Timeframe · candle count
Capital · % per trade · leverage
Stop by percent or by ATR
Target percent
Fee per side · slippage
It does not model order impact, gaps straight through your stop, or perpetual funding. Use it to compare strategies and assets against each other — not to read one exact number off a single run.
A tool that hides what it cannot see is a tool you cannot size a position with.
Let an AI run the thousand tests you were never going to run.
Connect your account to Claude — or any assistant that supports it — and ask in plain language. It sweeps parameters, pairs and timeframes, ranks what came out, and then checks whether the winner survives outside the data it was found in.
Your connection address
https://mcp.actiontraderpro.com/mcp
Paste it into your assistant's connector settings. Nothing to install.
01
Paste the address
In Claude it is Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector. Other apps call it MCP or Integrations.
02
Approve it once
It opens ActionTraderPro. You sign in the way you always do and press Approve — your password is never typed anywhere else.
03
Ask for what you want
“Find me a strategy for BTC and ETH on 1h and 4h.” It runs the backtests and comes back with a ranked table.
What it is good for
Sweep three pairs across three timeframes and rank them
Try risk:reward 1.5, 2 and 3 on whatever won
Re-check it out of sample and at double the costs
Save what survived and send it to paper
An AI that runs two hundred backtests will always find one that looks superb. That is why it is instructed to put the winner through the stretch of history it never saw, other pairs and double the costs — and to tell you which of those it failed.
What it cannot do
It cannot trade with real money, connect an exchange or move funds. That is enforced by our backend and not by the assistant behaving itself: a connection only ever reaches backtesting, setups and paper. Going live stays a button you press yourself.
Backtests, setups and paper trading
Trading, exchanges and anything that moves money
The tedious half of finding an edge is running the thousand tests. That half was never the half you were good at.
Every follower who pays a subscription lands as a credit on your balance. The platform resolves its commission on each charge, so what you put on the strategy is what you charged.
Your track record gets published the same way everyone else's does — win rate, average ROI, max drawdown and worst losing streak, all measured on trades the platform executed and closed. You do not get to write them. Neither do we.
What you published, what fired, and what it did on every account following it.
Your followers
A count, not a customer list. Nobody's balance or PnL is exposed to you — or to anyone.
Your earnings
Balance, holds, and every movement that produced them.
Withdrawals
USDT on BSC, confirmed through an email link that expires in 30 minutes and a 2FA code.

Questions
The ones you were going to ask anyway.
Do you ever hold my money?
No. There is no deposit and no balance of yours to fund. You link your exchange account with an API key, and every order is placed, managed and closed inside that account, in your name. The only balance we hold is a trader's earnings from selling signals, and that only exists if you decide to sell signals.
What if I want it to stop right now?
One button, called Stop everything. It pauses every strategy you have running and closes every position you have open. It touches nobody else's account, and nothing restarts on its own — you turn it back on.
Can I try it without putting money in?
Yes. Activate on a simulated account: real prices, every platform rule, no real money, and it does not use up a slot on your plan. The activation keeps its history when you move it to a live account. Paper does not model fees or slippage, so treat the result as a ceiling.
Where do the numbers on this page come from?
From trades the platform executed and closed on real accounts. Win rate, average ROI, max drawdown and worst losing streak are computed from those, not from what a strategy's owner reports. Strategies without enough closed trades are excluded rather than shown with a flattering number.
Which exchanges can I use?
Binance, Bybit, OKX, Bitget, Bitunix, Coinbase, Kraken Pro, Kraken Futures and KuCoin for crypto, and Alpaca for US stocks and ETFs. Plus paper trading, which runs the same execution path with simulated money.
What happens if my password leaks?
We hold your API keys and your wallet, so this matters. With two-step verification switched on, a stolen password is not enough to trade with your money or to request a withdrawal. Withdrawals also need a confirmation link that expires in 30 minutes and a 2FA code.
Can I publish my own strategy?
Two ways. Publish signals as a trader and set your own price, or send us a strategy you already trade and have it automated for you — with the build status visible the whole way through.
Start on money that is not real.Switch when you have seen enough.
The same strategy, the same rules, the same execution path — and the activation keeps its history when you switch it over.
